Narrative Report

Narrative Report Observation #1 By: Ava Chewning I did my runner observations at Guild Elementary School rigid at 1018 South Water Street G any(a)atin, TN 37066. I was charge to Mrs. legal injurys third grade schoolroom. Friday the 26th of October I spy from ten o quantify A.M. process one oclock P.M. and on Monday, October twenty-ninth from eightsome oclock A.M. till ten oclock A.M. I observe a total of louver hours. within the classroom in that respect were a total of 15 students: nine boys and six girls. The students sit down in groups of five at their desk, mixed with boys and girls. The outer skirts of the classroom walls were all kinds of antithetical defecatestations for the students. This allowed diverse teaching and studies which really engages and captures the students circumspection and likeness. The classroom was sort of colorful, organized and clean but hitherto displayed no work of the students. One thing I detect was that the teacher did not hav e a desk. Instead, she sat at a half circle table. This was to appear open for the students to be a ardent welcoming approach. The classroom was loaded with knowledge materials all along the walls. The computers were at the back wall; the console table was their explicate wall but held all their fun interacting control tabular array games.

The wall opposite of the computers was utilize for the schedule and rules. The wall transverse from the word wall/ cabinet was the dry erase board, all her shelving of fairly organized baskets for all the subjects being taught and the Elmo. The Elmo was a proper instrument to use. Its purpose was to project whatever you had onto the board. Mrs . Price didnt use the Elmo when I observed h! er, but the substitute use it to have a whole group discussion oer their practice page out of their workbooks. With that being said, they used information workbooks, computer games to enhance previous teachings, and other workbook pages al give ready to be passed out to the students.
